Tifny Chen bought her first piece of vintage costume jewelry in southern California when she was 13. Since then shes turned her passion into a business

Most of Vintage Trades jewelry is sourced from antique and vintage jewelry dealers in San Fernando Valley, California, near owner Tifny Chens childhood home.

Vintage Trade () owner Tifny Chen () has lost count of how many pieces of antique and vintage jewelry she has collected since she was a teenager, but says it is more than a few thousand. In 2008, she decided to turn her hobby into a business.

Unsure of how customers in Taiwan would react to vintage items from the US, where she grew up, Chen started small, selling jewelry out of a suitcase in Shida night market on days off from her job as a freelance simultaneous interpreter. Within a year, she was confident enough to open a brick-and-mortar store. Vintage Trades cozy, window-lined space is located near the corner of Civic Boulevard and Fuxing South Road in Taipei.

Everyone who walks in here has a connection to certain pieces. But it wasnt just the world that was different. The Burning Crusade took the game wed been playing for a little over two years and tweaked it with small improvements that affect the way we play the game even today. It pioneered the definition of what an expansion was, in the WoW universe, and paved the way for the expansions to follow. The Burning Crusade still ranks high on many players vorite expansion lists, including my own. Finding five reasons to love it? Thats a complete walk in the park. Picking just five to show you … thats a little harder!

Imagine a World of Warcraft in which the stest mount you could ever obtain was the 100% ground variety. The skies above remained just that — above. The only way you could fly in the game was via flight paths that took you on carefully directed flights over the scenic landscape. Soaring through the skies of our own volition was something that was utterly unobtainable, and we were never meant to take flight in them. It wasnt possible. The way Azeroth was constructed in 2004 took a lot of shortcuts with the art of landscape design, creating the illusion of a lush, three-dimensional world — but flying over that world would reveal those shortcuts and allow players to fly through the map in some areas.

Enter The Burning Crusade. Since Outland was an entirely different world, nowhere on Azeroth proper, it could be built from the ground up in an entirely different shion — one that avoided the graphical pitlls of Azeroth, constructed in a seamless, three-dimensional shion … one that would allow our characters, at last, to take to the skies and fly uninhibited by predirected paths, free to soar to our hearts content through Outlands compelling, entrancing skyboxes.

Needless to say, it changed the way we look at the world forever. Players had to reach level 70 before they could fly, so there was plenty of time to walk Outlands paths, admiring those upper vistas just out of reach. Heroic dungeons simply did not exist until The Burning Crusade. These dungeons offered a slightly more difficult experience with the promise of greater rewards. Enjoy without swearing a blue streak at the rapidly respawning trash that they needed to clear after the first wipe to a new and incredibly difficult boss.

Despite that, what heroics offered was something that we hadnt seen before — accessibility, real accessibility to endgame content and gear that didnt involve raiding. Prior to The Burning Crusade, the only purple gear youd find was either available through a mind-numbing PVP grind, a complicated quest chain, raiding, or if you were extraordinarily lucky, an ultra-rare world drop. The amount of epics available outside raiding was slim, and if you didnt raid, it wasnt terribly likely youd ever see your character decked out in purples, much less have a lot of options for content once you hit level 70.

In addition, The Burning Crusade saw the introduction of smaller raids. Gone were the days of 40-man behemoth guilds. Instead, raids were separated into 10- and 25-man content. It was a rough change for many guilds, but it put an end to the struggle to recruit and the hassle of trying to keep 40 players entertained and focused on one task. And for those who didnt have the time to try and recruit 40 people in classic, the option to simply find nine other players and try out raid content was a much easier alternative.

I know what youre thinking. Youre thinking Im crazy. But in classic WoW,rs for gold. once you finished questing to level 60, you were pretty much done with quests. There was nothing left to do. Either you joined a 40-man raiding team, you tried your hand with the PVP system, or you ran the same dungeons over and over to collect your dungeon set. A lot of raiders mistakenly thought that Black Temple was the last raid of The Burning Crusade, until they heard news of the Sunwell patch and yet more raiding content. For many players, however, Black Temple was a disappointment, not because it lacked in stunning visual scenery or interesting boss mechanics but because despite the changes to raid size, Black Temple was still not really widely obtainable. For many players, the closest look theyd get at Illidan Stormrage was The Burning Crusade trailer — a pity, to say the very least.

Keep heading up through the Den, and youll eventually find yourself outside at the end of a long promenade. All the way down on the other end is the next boss in the instance.

Mother Shahraz has an amazing model carrying amazing weapons and one amazingly annoying ability youll want to watch out for. Every now and again, she will choose three random targets and teleport them to a random location forFatal Attraction. As the name cleverly suggests, standing next to the people you are teleported with will result in a irly quick demise. If you are teleported, you need to run away from the people youve been teleported with and stay away from anyone else in your group until the debuff drops off. Other than that ability, theres little to watch fwow goldor with Shahraz,Rappelz Rupees and you should have her down relatively quickly.

Tier drops Hey, weve finally got some tier! Mother Shahraz drops tier 6 shoulder tokens for all classes.

Other items of interest Shahraz has some other cool stuff, too. For cloth-wearing classes, theLeggings of Devastation are another piece of recolored priest tier 6. For leather classes,Shadowmasters Boots are a recolored version of rogue tier 6. For plate-wearing classes, theHeartshatter Breastplate is a really cool chestpiece in red and gold, emblazoned with a demons that ce — Id definitely recommend checking it out because its such a unique look. Just past Shahrazs corpse is the entrance to the next section of the Temple. Thankfully, this area isnt particularly huge; it just consists of a lot of stairs. When you are fighting the mechanical construct trash, make sure not to stand in any beams the constructs happen to be placing on the ground, because they can still kill you at 85 if you arent careful. Fight your way through the constructs and a host of fel-touched elves, and youll soon be at the entrance to the final fighting grounds in the Black Temple.

Albert Gonzalez, the computer hacker behind one of thelargest known identity fraud cases in U.S. history, was sentenced on Thursday to 20 years in federal prison.

Gonzalez and his alleged co-conspirators sold the credit numbers, encoded the data onto magnetic stripes of blank cards, and used the new cards to withdraw tens of thousands of dollars at a time from ATMs, prosecutors said. They also allegedly concealed and laundered their proceeds by using anonymous Internet-based currencies within the United States and abroad, and by channeling money through bank accounts in Eastern Europe.

Separately, New Jersey prosecutors say Gonzalez conspired to steal credit card numbers from Heartland Payment Systems, 7-Eleven, and supermarket chain Hannaftiffany ringsord Bros.

Gonzalez was reportedly paid $75,000 a year by the Secret Service to work as an undercover informant to guide agents through the illegal, clandestine marketplaces where credit and debit card numbers are sold.
